“Instead, they have this small black box that moves numbers and makes people ask, sometimes with partisan patterns. And so, I think what we need is a new Bls eye pack, someone who can clean this job,” Hasset said.
The White House’s economic adviser referred to his 2015 BLS Symposium speech, where he talked about the modernization of the 100th anniversary of the consumer consumer research.
“I talked about how data could not be propaganda,” Hasset said. “The data should be something you can trust because the decision makers in the economy believe that these are the data, that they can build a factory because they believe, or lower interest rates because they believe. And if data is not so good, then it’s a real problem for the United States and currently has become very uncertain.”

According to Bls, the last time the audit declined more than 133,000 in March 2021, when it was revised by 146,000 a year in the Kovid-19 pandemic.

“It is really important to keep our eyes on the horizon and the eyes of the horizon see really smooth sailing forward,” Hasset said. “When I first saw the big audits, which, by the way, were the biggest audits that went up to 50 years, if we turned off the forefront of years, when I saw those audits, I thought it had to be a type. That I had never seen a revision like this.”
Hasset claims that Trump’s “big, beautiful account” will offset all the impacts of tariffs on the US economy and strengthen average family revenue by $ 10,000.
“The Congress Budget Office said we are considering about three trillion in new tariffs in the United States. It is something that will really help us balance the budget. And all inflation numbers are lower than they were in five years,” he said.
He also further supported the president’s call for new leadership in the Bureau.

“They need to go back to zero and consider why the figures began to be so insecure. And, you know, why the numbers did not collect the whistle and so on,” Hasset said. “So, now we have BLS numbers that are not much better than they were during Kovid, and we need to understand why. And so, I think the president’s right to call for new leadership. I think Erica is a terrible person, but I think it’s time for anyone to get there and fix this because these numbers are so key.”
