Former Washington Post executive editor Marty Baron joined Mediabuz to discuss why he is “disgusted” with Bezos’ new term and why the move has received a publication reaction.
Business Insider, Emily Stewart, spoke to more people who admitted to stealing Amazon CEO Effef Bezos, without any.
Stuart publish a report On Thursday, titled “The Rise of Anti-Amazon Avengers”, documenting numerous people dealing with theft by Bezos companies. She described the mentality of such thieves as “some sort of endeavor to Robin Hood-Esk, where they take it from the rich to give it to the poor, the relatively poor to be themselves.”
Stewart said these stores were motivated outside of ordinary economic problems, often citing complaints against Bezos himself, ranging from his business practices to his recent political shifts against President Donald Trump and the Washington Post.
Bezos has caused a great deal of controversy within the Washington Post, which he also owns, when he refused to approve the candidate during the 2024 election. After President Trump won the election, Bezos sat down with the then-elected president of his property Mar-A-Lago in Florida in December. In February, Bezos announced major changes to the post -post page, saying there would be more emphasis “Personal Freedoms and Free Markets”.

Stewart spoke with almost a dozen “shops for shops and ethical (and legally) compromised people”, who gave them pseudonyms, about why they chose to steal from Bezos companies.
A 20 -year -old communications professional living in Washington, an area, withdrew to the rapporteur that he was engaged in “automatic theft” from his local store for whole food.
“If a billionaire can steal from me, I can delete a little from the top,” he said.
Stuart sumed that these thefts include minor violations as he would “deceive the scale in the hot bar, pocket spices or take four lemons in the self-check track, while only declaring two.” She also added that when this young man, Lee, recognized these crimes to his mother, he convinced her by citing the “Market Power of Amazon”, Bezos’ wealth, which made the billionaire The Washington Post.
This is one of the many thieves who claim that their theft is a political act.

A pseudo-paved-named Carson from the nonprofit sector told Stewart that “he wants to slide salmon Lox in his laptop sleeve and estimates he saves about $ 1,000 in groceries a year by buying stores, mainly out of all food.”
“It’s easy to look like Lex Luthor,” Carson told him, referring to the Bald Superman’s villain. “Who is actually injured in this strange, dehumanized system?”
The reporter also noted that Carson is aimed at Amazon, also in that “he will buy 1,000 US or Amazon decorations, use them and then return them.”
Another thief was compared to Batman.
A 30-something government worker, a pseudo-named Jimi, told Stewart that he was “indifferent” to Bezos, and said he was not losing his dream due to replacing his controller in a broken video games with the one he bought from Amazon, sending him back to the new box.
“We know how much money that company earns. They will not be worried about those $ 70,” he said. “I feel like Batman on his return. I choose my goals.”

But Stewart argues that such activities are not only unproductive but also bad for society.
“None of what they are doing does not make the type of influence they would like to see, and they comfortably ignore the positive contributions of Bezos, such as his philanthropy. And they could cause unwanted damage to the world’s non-bonzeings, as well as everyone, many more. Prices rise, or in case of return fraud, means that businesses make unwanted items much harder. “
However, at the end of her piece she concluded: “At least it is better than to ignite Teslas.”
Amazon and all food did not respond immediately to the commentary request.
