Teofimo Lopez claims Arnold Barboza’s latest is “a stepping stone”, ignoring the threat

WBO Lightweight Champion Teofimo Lopez reduced the threat that his compulsory Arnold Barboza’s latest creates by rejecting him as simple “Growth Stone” For bigger things in his career as they fight on May 2 at Times Square in New York.

TEO (21-1, 13 Kos) does not want to admit that Barboza (32-0, 11 Kos) is the biggest threat to him since the fight with Vasily Lomachenko in 2020.

Although Lopez was later beaten by George in Cambic and believed to lose Sandor Martin and Jamaine Ortiz, he had to win these battles easily. The judges presented Lopez gifts against Jamaine and Sandor, but he was well polite.

Barboza’s youngest is the kind of talent that will put the referees in an impossible position: they will not dare to win A-Side Teofimo.

“Growth Stone”

“This is the biggest battle of his life and it’s just another stepping stone in my career and we did it,” said Teofimo Lopez Upper rank box.

“We will show everyone on May 2, why we are the truth and why we are a myth. I look forward to what Arnold Barboza wants to bring to the table, but I guarantee you that it is much different when you’re definitely with me in the ring, ”said Theophimo.

Something made theofimo feel like he could walk on the water now and I don’t know what. Was it his last fight against Steve Klagget? Hopefully Lopez realizes that the highest rank nourishes him soft work after he fought against Jamaine Ortiz. He needed confidence in how he looked in this fight.

Barboza looks unparalleled at the moment, and theofimo will need to win this fight. In the last two battles of Barboza Jr, he beat Jack Catterall and José Ramirez. Any of these guys would have a great chance to beat Lopez.
