WBO Lightweight Champion Teofimo Lopez reduced the threat that his compulsory Arnold Barboza’s latest creates by rejecting him as simple “Growth Stone” For bigger things in his career as they fight on May 2 at Times Square in New York.
TEO (21-1, 13 Kos) does not want to admit that Barboza (32-0, 11 Kos) is the biggest threat to him since the fight with Vasily Lomachenko in 2020.
Although Lopez was later beaten by George in Cambic and believed to lose Sandor Martin and Jamaine Ortiz, he had to win these battles easily. The judges presented Lopez gifts against Jamaine and Sandor, but he was well polite.
