Removing an education loan to chase American dream may seem like a calculated risk – but for many Indian students it becomes a cube with high personal and financial stakes. Increased costs for tuition, unforgivable interest rates and the cruel labor market can turn that dream into a longer period of long, stress and isolation.
A brutally honest post on Reddit, now viral, reduces optimism often sold with overseas education. It is a cruel, first -hand Indian student in the United States, who says it is like it is: don’t come here unless you are fully prepared to tighten the storm.
