Steve Pagliuka, a minority owner of NBA Boston CelticsAllegedly, he reached a historic agreement to buy the Sun on WNBA Connecticut.
Pagliuka agreed to buy the sun for $ 325 million, Boston Globe reported.
The deal is ongoing, but if the Board of Governors has finally granted approval, the price will be the most expensive sales in WNBA history.
“Moving decisions are made by the Board of Governors, not individual teams,” the league said in a statement.

Pagliuka plans to move the franchise to Boston by the 2027 season. The deal also includes promises to invest $ 100 million in a new Boston training spot for the team.
