Berlang collapse: overdue weight, flu excuse and “big bag” pimple exposes cracks in the super medium weight facade

Edgar Berlang failed to gain weight today, reaching 169 1/2 pounds, weighing his ten role in the fight against Jonathan Gonzalez-Organize this Saturday evening on March 15, in Caribe Royale Orlando, Florida.

Light heavy?
This is a clear sign that Berlang has to move to a lightweight heavy weight (175), as he reportedly rehidray during the last fight until 193. He must fight in the weight class he can create. It is understandable that he does not want to move up to 175, because there are all the killers. The Light Heavy Division is filled with talented fighters who would destroy limited fighters such as Berlang, and his career would have ended almost immediately.
Even with a protective advertising company, such as the highest rank or game room, they couldn’t do much with Edgar if he competes in lightweight weight. They have too many good fighters to maneuver Berlang around them all.
Berlang (22-1, 17 Kos) claims he had the flu and knew he would not be able to weight but chose to stay on the map. However, he looks heavy for several months, seemingly celebrating the loss of super average weight champion Canelo Alvarez last September.
Discovering that he has been fighting the flu, Berlang could benefit if he loses Gonzalez-Orthiz (20-0-1, 16 kos) or if he fights to win. However, it is a bad look for him to miss weight by 1.6 pounds as he is going to become a free agent. Saturday is a super average rival Berlang’s last fight for his contract with Eddie Herner’s match room company and he says he wants to sign with another promoter or network to create “The big bag.
If you are a promoter, you should look at the Berlang’s colossal size of 168 pounds, his unilateral loss of Canelo and his weak resumption and concludes that he is not someone who will be useful to fight the highest level of opposition super average weight. That is, if he can even weight.
He will be suitable for one one -fight against one of the contenders he may lose badly, and then it will end. Berlang is a type to be coordinated with weak opposition, as the top rank did and how Hernis maneuvered him.
Soldier or weak?
“People don’t know, but I had the flu. I struggled with my health and knew at some point that I couldn’t do it, ”said Edgar Berlanga Fightype.
If the flu does not explain why Berlang has looked like a cruiser since his loss to Canelo last September. He has always been big, but he looks like he filled after that defeat.
“Everyone who is there, they know that I take this sport very seriously, especially with my health. There is nothing to say. We are still fighting. I want to say to my fans that the other is not what it is. We could have pulled out of the fight if we wanted to rely on my health. I’m a soldier, bro.
“I’m just going out there and making the show happen. I had many fans who came out here to buy tickets and airline tickets, flights coming from Puerto Rico. We will put on tomorrow. Tunes tomorrow. You’ll see what’s going on.
“He has something to prove. Take a look at what happened to Mungia, ”said Berlang about his little-known 35-year-old opponent Jonathan Gonzalez-orthis, who today looked at a miserable physical position in weighing in sports as a father’s body. “It can’t be us on March 15,” Berlang said.
