Kenneth Sims (22-3-1, 8 Kos) insists that he made enough to make a win in his 10-round loss to Oscar Duarte (30-2-1, 23 Kos) in their WBA lightweight weight title last Saturday night at the University of Illinois in Chicago.

The judges were close to it, evaluating it 115-113, 114-114 and 116-112 Duarte.
Sims game plan errors
Where Sims blew his chance to win, it was to choose a fight with Duart inside, fighting his back against the ropes in many layers. Sim dominated Oscar as he fought in the center of the ring, using his token and the long reach on the ground shots.
Sim’s movement was impressive. It was like watching a A copy of MayweatherHowever, in the area, he retreated from his play plan and chose to trade inside Duarte. This tactic was acting against Sim as he fought the Duarte game and got the worst. He did not hold his own when he struggled with his back against the ropes against Mexican.
Sims, 31, says he wanted an immediate repeat game because he believed he had done more than enough to be given victory. It is unlikely that Duarte’s promoters at Golden Boy’s shares will be submitted to Sims’s request, as it was the world title renter to receive WBA 140 pounds of champion Gerry Antuann Russell. This is the battle that Duarte wants the next.

“It wasn’t really adjustment. It was a game plan that was boxing,” Sims said. “So I was boxing. I was a bit stood in the ground because I knew I had to do it, or he would come harder. So, I was standing in the ground when I needed. I think I won the fight.”
Sim looked as if he wanted to prove to the fans that he could beat Duarte in his game, fighting him inside. Indeed, sometimes Sims became better from him, especially if Duarte’s tires or too long tried to get into the perfect condition to throw one of his shots. The problem of Kenet is that he was not enough when he was effective in close -up.
Duarte stamping force
“He missed as hard as I thought he did. He was so relentless than he had a punching power, but as I said, I want to recover it. I need it. I am competitive. So I need this s *** back.
Duarte is not a huge punch, but he beats his opponents with his pressure and body hole. He beats hard enough to submit his opposition. After the fight, you could say from Sims to a badly swollen face that Duart’s power is still huge.
