The salary of seven figures may sound like a luxury ticket, but Google’s software engineer, Mitri Mangal, gives him the internet to check reality. In a viral video, Mangal has broken his monthly costs in Newouper, revealing how the huge annual salary of 1.6 kronor can quickly disappear in the sky in the Big Apple.
Speaking with podcast and author Kusal Loda, Mangal shared an insight into her earnings and the financial realities of living in one of the most expensive cities in the world.
“What is the average Google package? I asked Maiti, Google software engineer and she shared that it was about 1.6 kronor in the roles,” Loda said in the title of his post.
But the figure that really attracted viewers’ attention was how much of that income goes to simply to meet the ends of the Newujork.
Standing in her apartment, Mangal revealed that she spends about $ 5,000 (approximately 4.2 lacquer) each month. The largest piece goes to rent, which costs 3,000 USD (approximately 2.5 lacquer).
Daily costs like eating out, groceries and entertainment ranges between $ 1,000 and $ 2,000 ($ 85,684 to 1.71,368 Rs), while transport adds another $ 100 to $ 200 (8,568 to 17,136 Rs) to its monthly accounts.
The video comments section quickly turned into a vibrant discussion of the strict gap between impressive salary packages and relentless living costs in global cities like New York.
Mangal, who regularly shares technology content with her 173,000 Instagram followers, has sparked talks on the true purchasing power of high wages in urban centers.
