Disney is marked 70 years of America and Women’s Women in uniform with a video highlighting its traditional flag withdrawal ceremony, which began on the day of Disneyland’s opening. Every day of July 17, 1955, Disneyland held a flag withdrawal ceremony. The magical kingdom, one of Disney’s Florida thematic parks, joined the tradition of opening in 1971.
“For 70 years, Disneyland honored veterans with American tradition every day,” the video narrator said before reducing the compilation of events celebrated by those serving the United States.

“Since its founding, Disney has been dedicated to the ideals and dreams created by America. This is where heroes and veterans are celebrated,” the company wrote in the video title, celebrating its commitment to support US services on its YouTube channel.
The affinity of Walt Disney company to the US military is rooted in the founding as well as the Disney, Walt and Roy brothers, served in World War I. According to the company’s website, Walt was riding an ambulance for the Red Cross ambulance, while Roy served as a strong Navy officer.
