Members of Cincinnati Restaurant and catering industry issued a statement after a violent fight that became viral on social media last week.
The statement was signed by 15 owners of multiple institutions, including Skyline Chili, the icon A chain based in Cincinnati.
“As members of the Cincinnati restaurant and the catering industry, we are broken by the heart and angered by a recent violent incident that happened in our city center. The statement is read.

New footage emerged on Saturday to hear a racial slurry, but it is unclear who is saying to whom the violence begins to unfold.
Lawyer Brandon Fox, who represents defendant Ermejane Matthews, told Fox News that “it is not a black, racist crowd that attacked people. These were separate fights that were caused by racial celebrations that eventually poured gasoline.”
While federal and local authorities are still investigating the situation, four arrests were made in connection with the fight.

In addition to Matthews, Montianez Meriveter, Dekira Vernon and Dominique Kitl were also arrested and face charges.
