Asiapei based in Hong Kong teamed up with Tai in Management to implement an electronic payment system within the Joie taxi reservations platform.
Joi is a taxi fleet run by Tai’s leadership in Hong Kong.
The partnership will provide the taxi drivers “available payment options” as well as simplify the process of reservations and payment for passengers, Asapay said.
The Asiapay payment system, now integrated into Joie, supports various payment ways, including credit cards, Unionpay, Alipayhk, Wechat Pay HK and Apple Pay, with plans to expand available options.
Integration is said to support the processing and reconciliation of real -time transactions.
Allows passengers to book and pay directly through the Joie application.
Tai’s management said: “This partnership meets rising expectations between drivers and travelers for digital services. We plan to cooperate with Asiapay to explore additional innovation, including dynamic pricing integration.”
In addition, the Joie platform has technologies to prevent Asiapay fraud and adheres to the Standard for Data Security for the Payment Card Industry (PCI DSS).
