Arslanbeck McHmudov says he is grateful that the British heavyweight Dave Allen chose him as his opponent to their 12 round peak on October 11th. Allen (24-7-2, 19 Kos) chose the impressive 6’6 ″ Makhmudov (20-2, 19 Kos) from the five-fighters list to the opponent.
The way to the Wilder or Joshua
Organizer Eddie Hern says that if Allen beat Arslanbeck, his next fight could be against Dontay Wilder or Anthony Joshua. So, there is a lot of game at the age of 33 in this fight. It would be a massive late career pay for Allen to fight Joshua. Who would have ever thought that ham and Egger as Allen could be on the border to get a chance to fight AJ?
There is still a lot to ask for the “white rhinoceros” to draw Makhmudov. One thing is to beat a home -level fighter like Johnny Fisher, but it’s a different story that does it against McHmudov.
