The alphabet, formerly called Google, maintains the largest online web site index available through automated search technology. Generates revenue through internet advertising, cloud and hardware services. Google is now an operating segment of the alphabet. The company was founded in 1998 by Sergei Brin and Larry Page and leaked in 2004.

Google’s AdWords is auction -based program that allows business entities to display ads along with certain search results. Google’s AdSense Program allows web pages in the company network to serve targeted ads, based on search conditions or web content, adwords ads. Most of the income generated through AdSense is shared with network partners. In addition, the alphabet owns YouTube.com, a video-based website. It has also expanded to mobile telephony with its Android smartphone operating system and public cloud services. About 52% of alphabet revenue is generated outside the US
