Enjoying Base Workout – BionicoldGuy

The last few days have mostly spent long turning journeys, but the only hard day was Friday. This is nice. I have found as long as I don’t make a hard day at intervals, recovery is great, I feel good the next day. Here’s what my training looked like in my last post.

“E” means a rough long swim, “ha” means a hard day of the upper body, and “LH” means a hard day of the upper body. During the “Ugh” days, I have 50 minutes of arm-race and training with resistance orchestras, plus some body “basic” course. The rest was an easy bike. I was slightly wiped on Saturday after a heavy ride on Friday, so Saturday was easy to go easily and I was well restored on Sunday (yesterday). I will continue to go in this way for a month and decide how to move after.

This course violates the protocols on the classic basic training of Dr. Phil Maffeton or Arthur Lydire, which have advised to avoid any anaeropaic efforts of basic training. They believe that Anaerroobic activities will actually prevent aerobic training from physiological improvements. The last authors are less than adamant, just offering to back down anaerobic activity in the base period. Matlets, who follow the mafidon, and the Lidirdi had a huge success, so I didn’t want their worry to take away their worries. So I studied this using Google’s Gemini AI in “Deep Research” mode. I asked this question to “Exercise Physiology, the linear parametric approach recommends a long basic training period, which is done exclusively in Aerobic Region (for example by Lydiard and Maffetone). Is the research report created hereA number I also caused a oral podcast summary of that report hereA number of recent science seems to support a small amount of anaerobic work to maintain your “high end” during the main period. Based on this, I feel more confident about my current schedule.
