Israel has launched a new operation on the ground in Gaza, returning the territory he has given up as part of the now deleted ceasefire and threatens further military force if Hamas does not release the remaining hostages held in the lane.
The maneuvo countries come a day after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ended the truce, launching broad air strikes that killed more than 400 people in Gaza in what was one of the deadliest days after the war began 17 months ago.
“The Air Force attack against Hamas terrorists was only the first step,” said Israel Katz, defense minister, threatening the “complete destruction” of the besieged enclave “if all Israeli hostages are not released and Hamas is not eliminated by Gaza.” “Israel will act by force that you have not known before,” he said in a statement.
The Israeli military has issued an order for the forced evacuation of the Palestinians, telling them to escape the cities and cities in the border areas and said its troops have regained control of parts of Netzarim’s so -called Corridor, which actually shared Gaza between the north and south.

The imposition of the siege ended in the increase in humanitarian aid that was a prerequisite for the ceasefire, which began around the time of US President Donald Trump’s inauguration in late January.
Israel also excluded the last remaining electrical line in the besieged enclave, which forced the closure of the Bigor factory, deteriorating a lack of clean water for the Gaza population of 2.2 million.
Local health authorities say more than 48,000 people have been killed after Israel launched its offensive in response to the Hamas attack on October 7, 2023, in which militants killed 1,200 people and took another 250 hostages.
Israeli’s renewed offensive and leaving talks on ceasefire is widely condemned by Arab and some European countries and comes despite the pleading of the hostages’ families to continue negotiating their release.
Separately, a European member of the UN staff was killed, and five of his colleagues were seriously injured in an explosion in their accommodation in Deir al -Balah in central gauze, the UN Office for Project Services said.
The UNPS said he understood that the guest house in an isolated location – but was constantly identified with IDC forces – was hit Wednesday morning after a similar incident the night before.
“The explosive ornament was kicked or fired” at the installation and was activated in it, according to the agency. A UN spokesman said it was too early to determine who was responsible for the attack. Israeli defense forces have denied any role in the incident.
Unops CEO Jorge Morira da Silva said she was “shocked and destroyed”, adding: “What is happening in Gaza is indecisive.”
