President Donald Trump And trade secretary Howard Latno confirmed on Sunday that if countries do not sign a trade agreement with the United States by August 1, they will return to the levels set in April.

Trump told one rapporteur that his administration could send 12 to 15 letters to different countries on Monday, although some could go out by the end of Tuesday or Wednesday.

Earlier on Sunday, Trump also confirmed that his administration had made trade deals, so what could be sent is a combination of letters and trade agreements.
Asked if the tariff rates will change on July 9 or August 1, Trump said: “They are will be tariffs. The tariffs will be tariffs. “
“I think we will make most countries by July 9 … or a letter or agreement,” he added.
Lunnel also held it, telling the rapporteur that the tariffs would take effect on August 1 and that Trump is currently setting the footsteps and making the deals.

“The president is right in discussing all sorts of deals with all sorts of countries,” Lunno said. “And the gentleman will decide to the right, and I will be with him when he makes that decision.”
Earlier the same day, the Secretary of the Finance Ministry, Scott Bellen, told Fox News on Sunday’s host of Shannon Brame that several deals were in the “home” and that the levels would return to what they set in April if countries do not conclude a deal with the United States.

“Is it fair to say there is a little break on the deadline of July 9th for some of these trading partners?” Braham asked.
“I think it’s not a little break because I think what happened is that there is a lot of congestion that enters the home and, as part of the trading team, what is great for what President Trump has on us is that he has created a maximum support,” Renzent said.

“By telling our trading partners that they could return to the date of April 2nd, I think it will really move things over the next few days and weeks,” he added.
